Acceptable Use & Customer Content Policy

This policy covers how this website may be used, and the rules around content, devices, and accounts you provide to MacKinnonTech as part of a project.

Effective date: July 21, 2026Last updated: July 21, 2026
What you are agreeing to

Use this site honestly, provide only content you have the rights to, and confirm you're authorized to request work on any device, account, or system you submit.

What is not allowed

Submitting false information, unlawful content, or requesting work on a device or account you don't own or aren't authorized to use.

1. Using This Website

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on this site
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to this website or its underlying systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse the contact or booking forms
  • Upload or submit unlawful content through this site

2. Customer Content

When you provide MacKinnonTech with content for a website project — logos, photos, text, video, or similar material — you confirm you have the right to use and publish it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. See Customer Content in the Website Development Terms for how this applies to a specific project.

3. Device and Account Authority

When you request PC repair or technology support, you confirm that you own the device, account, or system involved, or have the owner's permission to authorize the requested work — see Ownership and Authority in the PC Repair Terms.

4. Prohibited Use

MacKinnonTech may decline or stop a service if there is a genuine reason to believe it is being requested for an unlawful purpose, on equipment or an account you are not authorized to access, or in a way that misrepresents who you are or what you are asking for.

5. Reviews and Public Statements

MacKinnonTech does not require customers to agree to any restriction on posting a genuine, honest review of their experience as a condition of service. If MacKinnonTech asks to publish a testimonial, quote, or photo from your project, that is requested and confirmed with you separately — see the testimonial and photo consent practice described in MacKinnonTech's internal operating documents.

MacKinnonTech may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above. Questions about this policy, or requests related to your personal information, can be sent to jonnathan.mackinnon@mackinnontech.com.
