Accessibility Statement

1. Our Approach

MacKinnonTech builds this site — and client websites — with accessibility in mind as standard practice, not as an afterthought. This is a genuine effort, not a formal compliance guarantee. MacKinnonTech has not contracted a specific accessibility compliance scope or independent audit for this website.

2. What Is Implemented

• Semantic HTML structure, with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order
• Descriptive aria-label attributes on navigation, sections, and interactive controls
• Labeled form fields, with visible labels tied to their inputs
• Keyboard-operable navigation, buttons, and the site's contact modal, including closing dialogs with the Escape key
• Alt text on meaningful images; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them
• A color palette chosen for readable contrast between text and background
• Responsive layouts that remain usable and readable at phone, tablet, and desktop widths

3. Known Limitations

This site has not undergone a formal automated or manual accessibility audit (for example, a full WCAG conformance review or dedicated screen-reader testing pass). Some interactive visual elements — such as the animated background and cursor effects — are decorative and marked as such, but have not been independently tested with assistive technology.
