Built by hand. Built to last.
MacKinnonTech has about 8 years of hands-on custom PC building experience — gaming rigs, workstation builds, and home office systems, assembled and tuned the same careful way every time. This covers performance upgrades, troubleshooting, part selection, cable management, cooling, BIOS setup, and full system optimization.
A real, repeatable service — not a side hobby.
Gaming PCs
High-refresh, high-FPS builds tuned around the games you actually play and the budget you actually have.
Workstation PCs
Builds sized for real workloads — content creation, development, virtualization, or heavy multitasking.
Performance upgrades
Targeted CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage upgrades that meaningfully move the needle, not just swap parts.
Troubleshooting
Boot failures, instability, and bottlenecks tracked down to the actual cause instead of guesswork.
Part selection
Components chosen for compatibility, value, and longevity — not whatever is trending that week.
Cable management
Clean, routed builds that look as good as they run and stay easy to service later.
Cooling
Air or liquid cooling planned around real thermals, not marketing numbers, so the system stays quiet and stable under load.
BIOS setup & optimization
Memory profiles, boot order, fan curves, and system settings configured correctly before the build ever ships.
Labor pricing, clearly stated.
Prices below are for build labor unless otherwise specified. Components, Windows licenses, software licenses, shipping, replacement parts, and specialty thermal materials are not included in the starting labor price.
Standard Custom PC Build
A clean, well-cabled build with straightforward airflow and no specialty lighting or cooling.
Advanced RGB or AIO Custom Build
Multi-zone RGB, all-in-one liquid cooling, and more involved cable routing and case work.
Specialty Custom Build
Custom liquid cooling loops, advanced cable modification, specialty cases, or complex troubleshooting.
What affects final pricing
- Final pricing depends on build complexity and the number of components involved.
- Component compatibility is reviewed before any parts are ordered.
- You receive an estimate before any additional work is performed, and additional work will not be performed beyond the approved estimate or maximum authorized amount without your approval.
- Custom liquid cooling, advanced cable modification, specialty cases, and complex troubleshooting require a custom quote.
